About the Artist

I am a self-taught artist with a passion for drawing animal portraits.  Having worked in acrylics, oils and pastels, I have found a revived passion for drawing in graphite and coloured pencil.
Since the age of 11, I have always been interested in drawing and painting animals and was taking pet portrait commissions from the age of 19.
I have two teenage children and work full-time as a Project Manager for the NHS, and concentrate my spare time on my art.
Based in Swindon, Wiltshire, I have been an active member of the Haydon Artists Society for the past 17 years and exhibit in the group’s local exhibitions.  I am also a member of The Wildlife Art Society International and the UK Coloured Pencil Society.
